Certain manufacturers do not allow us to keep stock of their parts, preferring to rotate a small pool of their own. The problem with this situation is that they themselves can then also suffer from supply constraints which can impact on us.
This is why under certain circumstances we recommend that the Loan-stock option is taken, as it reduces the impact on the end-user’s productivity should a system need to be out of commission for some time, whilst we await parts.
In addition, the parts stock we carry is retained primarily for our Contract Customers and their equipment, so we cannot guarantee that parts will be available from stock for non-contract customers.
Some manufacturers are notoriously quick to “end-of-life” their products; so where possible, EvEnt keeps an archive stock of parts to alleviate this, in addition to access to other supply channels.
Where necessary, we have the ability to carry out component-level repairs for suitable parts, which we pass on in cost-savings for our customers.
This is a fairly unique capability amongst Apple Service Providers, and sets us apart from our competitors.
The upshot of this is that we can (and do) look after equipment for some customers that are almost 20 years old.

When necessary, EvEnt has workshop facilities to enable us to carry out compenent-level repairs. This keeps costs down and older equipment still running.
Every customers’ needs are different, so for this reason we provide a number of “Support Modules” from which you can assemble a personalised “Support Package” that best suits your requirements and budget.
